Made a cake! Don't know whether it is good, will see tomorrow. And also a bean salad - I bought some strange tinned beans today (also some I have eaten before) and wanted to know if the strange ones are edible without cooking (they had a sign on them saying to microwave or cook). Asked housemates and after googling, N phoned to her mum, asking if she had eaten them. Her dad gave good advice: if it does not say on the packet not to eat uncokked then it can be eaten and the cooking suggestions are there because it is better cooked.
Salad was OK, I hope! I ate some and have no poisoning, so hope it will be fine tomorrow.
Rest of the evening: install Ubuntu 10.10, then start installing other things, then decide I do not like Ubuntu and install Debian Lenny and get wireless work too. Not going to even try to get the Estonian ID card to work, I do not need to use it.
Neigbours are having a party, a noisy one.
